Several years ago the Walker church family stepped out in faith and chose to construct better facilities at a new location for the purpose of reaching more people in rapidly growing Walton County. “Crown Him King” is a stewardship campaign designed to lead Walker into financial freedom and to continue the dream of sharing Jesus with others.

The ultimate focus of “Crown Him King” is not raising funds, but raising disciples. Our emphasis will be on spiritual maturity, not on money. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, “But just as you excel in everything–in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us –see that you also excel in this grace of giving” (2 Cor. 8:7). Learning to give is just as important to Walker’s spiritual health as faith and love.

We believe this campaign will be a monumental moment in Walker’s long, blessed history, and we anticipate what the Lord Jesus will do in the life of our church.
